It is learned that government officials had suggested at a consultation meeting held by Chief Minister Stalin today that the general freeze in Tamil Nadu could be extended for another week with some additional relaxations.

The consultation meeting was held at the General Secretariat in Chennai and was attended by the Minister of Health, the Principal Secretary and senior officials.

It is learned that the Chief Minister will announce the relaxation and extension of the general ban tomorrow.
