Finance Minister Anurag Thakur grants Rs 15,000 crore to 'addition' to improve public health


The central government has allocated Rs 23,220 crore to improve public health and Additional central Finance Minister Anurag Thakur has announced a grant of Rs 15,000 crore.

The central government today announced a Rs.1.1 lakh crore loan guarantee scheme for various sectors affected by the corona.

8 economic reform plans will be implemented. 4 of those projects are new. Rs.50,000 crore loan guarantee is provided for health sector infrastructure alone.

It has been announced that under the Credit Guarantee Scheme for the corona affected sectors, the tourism sector will be given loans to repay their loans and resume business.

The federal government has decided to offer concessions to tourists to promote tourism. Accordingly, 5 lakh foreign tourists will be issued free visas.

Loans of up to Rs.100 crore will be provided for infrastructure facilities including hospitals.

1.5 lakh crore will be provided to the industry for emergency credit facilities. Loans to the industry will also be provided by banks with government guarantees.

Centarl Finance Minister Anurag Thakur said:

* An additional Rs.15 billion will be subsidized.
* Following the corona curfew, a scheme is being implemented to provide free food grains to the poor and common people.

* The central government has so far spent Rs.2,27,841 crore for this.

* The financial cost for this is Rs.93,869 crore

* The Central Government has allocated Rs.23,220 crore.

* Through this, steps have been taken to improve the medical infrastructure in the states and to recruit more doctors for government hospitals, including nurses.
