Fear of corona's delta plus virus' has been detected, the Federal Health Secretary ... Letter to these states ...!


The Central Health Secretary has written to the states of Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh that the alarming 'Corona's Delta Plus virus' has been detected.

During the 2nd wave of Corona in India, the delta type virus spread rapidly and caused great damage. In India, a genetic variant of the delta virus called Delta Plus has evolved. It has the ability to deceive the human immune system and enter the body.

Therefore, even those who are highly resistant have been warned that the new virus can easily infect them.
AIIMS Director Randeep Gularia, among others, advised that if the corona is prevented from following preventive procedures, the damage caused by the 2nd wave will recur in the next 3 or 4 months.
They also stressed the need to increase coronavirus genetic testing at this critical time, to study the extent to which vaccines against new types of viruses are effective and whether monoclonal antibodies are effective.

The CSIR warns us to be extra vigilant about the Delta Plus virus right now. Senior scientists from the organization have also revealed.

In this context, following the recent findings of Insagoco, a consortium of 28 laboratories, the Union Ministry of Health has issued advice on the alarming Delta Plus type to Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.

The delta plus virus has been detected in Ratnagiri and Jalgaon districts of Maharashtra, Palakkad and Pathanamthitta districts of Kerala and Bhopal and Sivapuri districts of Madhya Pradesh, the Union Health Secretary said in a letter to the three chief secretaries.

The Delta Plus virus has been confirmed in 22 people in India so far. Of these, 16 are from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.

According to Inzac, this type of corona virus is highly contagious, strongly adheres to the receptors of lung cells, and reduces the reaction of other substance adversaries.

Following this, the Union Health Ministry has asked Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh to pay more attention to the public health measures already in place.

The Chief Secretaries of the above States have been instructed to take immediate control measures in the districts identified by Insago. All three states have been asked to stop crowding and increase testing.

They have been instructed to systematically send adequate samples of persons who have been confirmed infected to Inzac Accredited Laboratories to perform the necessary tests and provide further guidance.
