As the current curfew in Tamil Nadu comes to an end on Monday morning, the Chief Minister yesterday held consultations with the medical team and officials. In this situation, Chief Minister Stalin has extended the curfew for another week with relaxations.

The entire curfew has been extended from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 14th.

A hand sanitizer must be placed at the entrance of the store for customer use and must be inspected with a body temperature monitor.

Management concerned must ensure that employees and clients wear mandatory face shields.

All stores operate without refrigeration and should not allow too many people at a time to observe social space in stores.

Signs should be put up so that there is enough space between one person and another while waiting in line for the general public in stores.

During this curfew, activities that are already permitted in all districts will continue to be allowed.

Considering the high incidence of the disease in Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai districts, the following 11 districts have already been sanctioned with the aim of meeting the basic needs of the public. Only essential activities are allowed from the 14th.

Private security service companies and services including office maintenance in office homes and apartments will be allowed with e-registration

Self-employed persons such as electrical staff computer and machine repairman will be allowed to go home and do repairs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bicycle and two-wheeler repair shops will be allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rental vehicles Taxis and Autos Passengers will be allowed to travel with e-registration. 3 passengers except taxi driver and only 2 passengers except driver in autos will be allowed.

Agricultural Equipment Pumpset repair shops will be allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Agricultural sales and repair shops will be allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Manufacture and sale of pottery and handicrafts allowed from 6 pm to 5 pm!

Export companies, companies that manufacture and deliver inputs to export companies will be allowed to follow standard guidelines with 25 per cent staff.

In addition to the 11 districts mentioned above, the following activities have been sanctioned in addition to some of the activities already permitted in view of the declining incidence of the disease in 27 other districts.

Beauty salons and salons will be allowed to operate from 6am to 5pm with the condition that only 50 per cent of the customers will be allowed at a time without air conditioning.

Parking will be allowed from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in parks controlled by government and local authorities.

Home appliance repair shops such as Mixi Grinder TVs can operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tasmac stores will be allowed to operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shops selling cell phones and related products will be allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Shops selling construction materials will be allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Home appliance stores, including the Mixi Grinder TV Bridge, are allowed to operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Administrative functions related to student admission in school colleges and universities will be allowed.

Already Informed Export Companies 50% of employees who manufacture and deliver inputs to export companies can continue to operate following standard guidelines.

At present, factories with 33 per cent employees are allowed to operate following standard guidelines.

Workers working in factories were already allowed to travel in four-wheelers. Currently they are allowed to go to work in two-wheelers and with a factory-issued ID card.

Only 20 percent of employees or ten people will be allowed in IT and IT service companies.

Housing non-bank financial institutions and all insurance companies will allow 33 percent of employees to operate
