Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the corona vaccine will be distributed free of cost to the states.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the shortage of Korana vaccine will be resolved soon.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed the nation as the impact of the Corona 2 wave was receding across the country.
Then he said:
"State governments are questioning why we should not make the vaccine ourselves. The federal government is following the same vaccination policy as the state governments.
We change policies from time to time to suit their demands.
State governments have been granted independence in vaccination policy since last May. We only distributed vaccines until the end of April.
The central government will also contribute 25 per cent of the state governments' share of the vaccine supply. The vaccine will be distributed free of charge to all states from June 21.
About 75 per cent of the vaccines produced in the country are procured by the central government and distributed to the states. The remaining 25 percent of vaccines can be purchased by private hospitals. "
