Corona infection has been confirmed in 5,127 people in Tamil Nadu today.

The total number of corona victims so far in Tamil Nadu is 24,65,874. In Chennai alone, a total of 5,31,732 people have been affected so far. The number of people who have recovered from the disease so far in Tamil Nadu is 23,83,624.

None of those who came from the outposts today are infected. So far, 43,89,046 people have come from abroad.

In Chennai, 308 people have been affected by the corona infection. Today the number of infections has reached 37 districts including Chennai. Apart from Chennai, 4,819 people are infected in 36 districts.

* The total number of people in isolation is 42,801.

* Total number of samples taken was 3,15,19,047.

* The number of test samples taken in one day today was 1,63,817.

* The total number of infected people is 24,65,874.

* Today the number of confirmed cases is 5,127.

* The number of confirmed cases in Chennai is 308.

* Number of patients receiving treatment in Chennai today (including isolated): 3555

* The total number of infected people is 14,41,703 men. Women 10,24,133. Third gender 38 people.

* 2,904 males were confirmed infected. 2,223 women.

* 7,159 people were discharged today. The total number of discharges was 23,90,783.

* Today, 91 people have died from corona virus infection. 27 were treated at a private hospital and 64 were treated at a government hospital. The total death toll is 32,290. A total of 8161 people have lost their lives in Chennai alone.

Respiratory problems, heart attacks, and covitamin pneumonia are the leading causes of death. Of those who died today, 131 were chronically ill. 17 people without any injuries.

Today there are 38536 oxygen beds, 26652 oxygen beds and 5629 ICU beds ready for use across the state.
