Change in the running hours of ration shops in Tamil Nadu...?

The government has announced that fair price shops in Tamil Nadu will be open from 9 am to 5 pm. The government said in a statement that the working hours would remain in effect until further notice.

Statement issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu:

The government has ordered a curfew with relaxations until June 14. Accordingly, vegetable, grocery stores and stalls selling essential commodities have been provided to operate from 6 am to 5 pm.

In this context, fair price shops will operate in all districts from today from 9 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. This working time will remain in effect until further notice.
