As the southwest monsoon continues to improve, there is a chance of rain in these states ..!


Rajasthan, western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab are not likely to receive prolonged rains as the southwest monsoon continues to improve, the National Weather Service said.

According to the National Meteorological Department of the Indian Meteorological Department:

The epicenter was reported at 5.8 km above sea level in southwestern Bihar, southeastern Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and adjoining areas.

The cyclone is expected to reach 1.5 km above sea level in southwestern Bihar, southeastern Uttar Pradesh, southern Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and southern coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The eastern and western parts of the cyclone are 3.1 km above sea level from Jharkhand to northern Gujarat and from north Chhattisgarh to south central Madhya Pradesh.

Thundershowers (50 to 60 kmph) in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, thundershowers and thundershowers in a few parts of Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi (40 to 50 kmph) in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Gilgit. Lightning and wind (30 to 40 km / hr) in some parts of Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, western Uttar Pradesh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Enam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala Showers or thundershowers at a few places in Pondicherry and Karaikal. Thundershowers at speeds of 30 to 40 kmph are expected in some parts of western Rajasthan.

Fishermen in these areas are advised not to go to sea as strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph are likely in the southwest, west central and northeastern Arabian Sea, coastal Gujarat, West Central Bay of Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.
