Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that people can nominate achievers for excellence in field work for the Padma Awards.

The Central Government presents Padma Awards to individuals who have excelled in various fields. The awards have been presented on Republic Day since 1954.

In this context, Prime Minister Modi has said that people can nominate achievers who excel in field work for the Padma Awards.

He said on his Twitter page, "There are many people in India who do great work in the field, but we do not know about them. Do you know people who inspire such success? If you know that, you can nominate for the Padma Awards.

You can submit your nominations till September 15 at http://padmaawards.gov.in.
