The Central Government should abandon its plans of repression against the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Out-of-state people have been given top posts in the Jammu and Kashmir power projects. Electricity and water are provided to the people of the outlying states.

There was no economic outrage or unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. The ruling central government has accused Jammu and Kashmir of being economically backward.

He said that if there had been an economic impact from the previous regime, Jammu and Kashmir would have reached a worse position now than Gujarat.
