A total of 41,806 new cases of corona infection have been confirmed in India in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Thursday. The federal health department says 581 people have died from the infection.

A statement from the Federal Department of Health said: "As many as 41,806 people have been newly diagnosed with corona in the 24 hours leading up to 8 a.m. Thursday. This brings the total number of corona vulnerabilities to 3,09,87,880.

39,130 people have recovered from the infection and returned home. A total of 3,01,43,850 people have recovered so far. Thus, the number of people receiving treatment for the infection is 4,11,989.

In the last 24 hours, 581 people have died from the infection. Thus, the total corona mortality increased to 4,11,989.

The total number of corona vaccines vaccinated in India has increased to 39,13,40,491 crore. Across the country, 34,97,058 vaccines were administered on Wednesday alone.

A total of 43,59,73,639 experiments have been conducted in India so far. The ICMR said 19,15,501 tests were performed across the country on Tuesday alone.
