Resolution - 1

Defend the rights of Tamil Nadu in the heartfelt Cauvery water sharing of Tamil Nadu!

You will prevent the construction of a new dam across the Cauvery at Mackayattu! Urging the Government of Tamil Nadu.

It is a well-known fact that our rights were upheld during Jayalalithaa's strenuous efforts to assert her rights to Tamil Nadu in the Cauvery water sharing.
The Government of Karnataka is constructing a dam at Eragol on the Tenpennai River, 8 km from Krishnagiri district, across the tributary Markandeya River.
It is an international practice that the upper reaches of a river should not be dammed without the consent of the lower reaches of the river. This is what all the nations of the world follow. Beyond this, the Karnataka government is building a dam at Eragol. This is highly reprehensible.
The Government of Karnataka is intensifying its efforts to build a dam across the Cauvery River at Mackayattu in the process of flooding the area. The Karnataka government has set aside funds to build two dams, one for each.
“The government of Karnataka cannot build a new dam in Meghathattu without getting the music of Tamil Nadu.
If the Karnataka government tries to do so, Tamil Nadu will not allow it under any circumstances, ”Jayalalithaa, who was the Chief Minister of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly in March 2012, confirmed.

In the Mackayattu case, the Tamil Nadu government had filed a case in the Supreme Court against the construction of the dams, when the then Finance Minister O.K. Panneerselvam pointed out and assured the Tamil Nadu Assembly that "we will never allow dams to be built."

Similarly, in a letter to the Prime Minister when Edappadi M. Palanisamy was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the party's co-ordinator said, Jal Shakti will instruct the Ministry, ”he said. He also met the Prime Minister twice and said that if permission was given to build a Karnataka dam in Megha Dadu, the delta districts of Tamil Nadu would become desert.

Remembering the above historical facts, the Government of Tamil Nadu should act swiftly, boldly and prudently.
The meeting insists.
Unlike the failure to protect the livelihoods of Tamil Nadu during the last DMK regime, the meeting urges the Tamil Nadu government to take decisive action now and stop the construction of dams at Mackayattu to protect the economy of Tamil Nadu.

Resolution - 2

Control price rises;
Imagine the suffering of the people!
Request to Central and State Governments.

Has there ever been a time in the history of mankind when there have been so many attacks on people from all walks of life at the same time, like the corona epidemic? To the extent that people hear that, they have all been subjected to untold suffering and misery.

At a time when the poor, the simple, the middle class and the working people are suffering as a result of unemployment, inflation, lack of income, rising prices and the question of the future, it is painful for a few sections to be involved in plundering profits that will push people further into misery.

The meeting called on the central and state governments to immediately intervene, adopt constructive economic policies and measures for the welfare of the common man, and urge immediate action to put an end to rising prices.

Rising prices of agricultural inputs; Rising prices of construction materials, including cement; The plight of the people of Tamil Nadu is deeply disturbed by the onslaught of attacks from eight directions on the rise in tariffs for medical needs.

The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) urges those who have come to the government to act swiftly, control prices, increase employment and alleviate the suffering of our people.

Resolution - 3
The central government should plan to reduce the prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas!

The state rulers must fulfill their promise to reduce the prices of these as soon as they come to power!

As Valluva Perunthakai said, "The world cannot exist without water", today's life cannot exist without fuel.
Inflation in our country is rising as the price of fuels, which are the basis of all industries, continues to rise; The price goes up; The suffering of the people is accumulating.

Because 80 per cent of India's total demand for petrol, diesel and cooking gas is imported from abroad; Their prices continue to rise despite taxation by the central and state governments.

The meeting called on the federal government to examine and decide what economic and tax changes can control the rise in petrol, diesel and cooking gas prices.
The meeting pointed out that the DMK had promised to reduce petrol prices by Rs. 5 and diesel by Rs. 4 as soon as it came to power.

The DMK has not yet implemented its promise to provide a subsidy of Rs 100 per gas cylinder. The meeting strongly condemns the government. The meeting warns that if these promises are not fulfilled immediately, there will be a massive struggle to mobilize the people.

Resolution - 4

The DMK has not opened its mouth about fulfilling many of the promises made during the Assembly general election. Government condemnation;

Insistence on fulfilling promises immediately!

The DMK is committed to fulfilling the hundreds of promises made in its election manifesto. The government should immediately release a timetable. The meeting urges that all the promises made, especially those made in the interest of women, be implemented expeditiously.

"One crore rupees will be given to the family of a policeman who lost his life while maintaining law and order," the DMK said. The meeting called for the immediate implementation of the promise made.

Resolution - 5

The DMK must fulfill the promise made to the people of Tamil Nadu during the election campaign that it will provide Rs. 1,000 / - per month to family heads in Tamil Nadu.

Otherwise, we will wage a great struggle with the support of the people of Tamil Nadu and the participation of the mothers.

Warning to Tamil Nadu government!

In particular,

* Women will be given Rs. 1,000 / - per month;

* The government will accept and repay the education loans of youth under the age of 30 who have obtained bank loans to pursue graduate studies in colleges;

* Jewelry loans of up to 5 purchased at cooperative banks will be waived;

The people of Tamil Nadu, especially women, have high hopes that the promises made by the DMK government will be implemented soon.
The meeting urges the DMK government to immediately implement a scheme to provide Rs. 1,000 / - per month to Tamil Nadu family heads. The meeting warns that if the DMK government does not implement this plan and other promises made to women soon, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) will co-ordinate a state-wide struggle with the support of the people of Tamil Nadu and the motherland.

Farmers strongly condemn the Government of Tamil Nadu for wasting their time by not purchasing the paddy they produce on time and urging them to purchase it immediately!

In various districts of Tamil Nadu, farmers have been taking their produce to the government for sale to the purchasing centers, where the paddy fields are soaking wet due to three consecutive days of heavy rains. There is a pool of water near some of the purchasing stations. More than 30,000 bundles of paddy are piled up in each shopping center. Not only this, three times as much paddy is piled up in his house and fields. Due to this, the farmers have been severely affected.

The farmers strongly condemned the Tamil Nadu government for neglecting to buy the paddy they produced immediately; We urge the Government of Tamil Nadu to take immediate action to ensure that farmers purchase the paddy they produce immediately and pay the appropriate price immediately.
