44 lakh corona vaccine for states in 3 days: Central government confirms.....

The Central government has provided more than 33.63 crore Corona vaccine doses to states and union territories. More than 44 lakh vaccine doses will be dispatched in 3 days.

The new program of Corona vaccination started on June 21, 2021. Vaccination activity is being increased by making more vaccines available. States and Union Territories are informed in advance of the availability of the vaccine in order to better plan vaccination and regulate the distribution of the vaccine.

As part of a nationwide immunization program, the federal government provides Corona vaccines free of charge to states and union territories.

Under the new program to vaccinate everyone over the age of 18, the federal government will purchase 75 percent of the vaccines produced by vaccine manufacturers and distribute them free of charge to states and union territories.

So far 33.63 crore (33,63,78,220) vaccine doses have been provided free of cost by the Central Government to the States and Union Territories. Of these, 33,73,22,514 doses, including wasted vaccines, were empty as of 8 a.m. today.

In addition, work is underway to send 44,90,000 vaccine doses. States and Union Territories will receive these in 3 days.
