Will the NEET election be held in Tamil Nadu this year .... Opposition Leader Question ...?

AIADMK co-ordinator and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Edappadi Palanisamy has questioned whether the NEET election will be held in Tamil Nadu this year.

In this regard, he issued a statement today (June 26):

“In the general elections that took place, the DMK, while speaking everywhere in its election campaign, promised Tamil Nadu students that the NEET exam would be canceled as soon as they took office in Tamil Nadu.

In Tamil Nadu, everyone's position is that NEED should not be chosen to fulfill the medical education dream of government school students. During the Congress-DMK coalition government, the Jayalalithaa government's position was that the nationwide entrance test for medical education introduced in 2010 would affect Tamil Nadu students and should not be imposed. For this, the Tamil Nadu government went to the Supreme Court and fought and got the exemption. However, a revision petition was filed in the Supreme Court and an order was issued that NEET examination would be held across India.

Although the Jayalalithaa government vehemently opposed the NEET examination, the task of preparing students for Tamil Nadu government schools for the examination as long as it existed was changed and the syllabus was adapted to it, and special training was imparted in government high schools for the NEED examination in each district. In addition, a special handbook was prepared and distributed to the students by experts for understanding about NEET exam.

Apart from such measures, the Jayalalithaa government also introduced a 7.5% quota to enroll a large number of government school students in medical colleges. Thus, about 435 students are enrolled in medical and dental courses. The Jayalalithaa government accepted their 5 year medical education expenses.

When I spoke to the legislature that had just taken place, the Chief Minister replied that the Commission, headed by Justice AK Rajan, had been set up to look into the aftermath of the NEET examination and that action would be taken on the recommendations of the Commission. . Following that, did I have the NEET exam this year, directly in the Assembly? Isn't it I raised the question of. Should students be prepared for this if there is a need? Don't you When asked, the Chief Minister did not respond directly.

With this decision of the present government, will the NEET examination be held in Tamil Nadu this year? Confusion has arisen among students and parents as to whether it will take place. Should Students Be Prepared for the NEED Exam? Don't you They are suffering without understanding that.

The All India Institute of Medical Education has announced that this year the Central Government will conduct NEET examinations across the country as per the guidance of the Supreme Court. Will Tamil Nadu students take the NEED exam before the recommendations of the commission headed by this government-appointed judge AK Rajan, who has promised to exempt Tamil Nadu students from the NEET exam? Don't you I want to clarify that. "

Thus, EPS said.
