'Thug law' on Kishore K. Sami arrested in case against political leaders

Kishore K. Sami, who was arrested in a case of slandering political leaders on social media, has been charged with thuggery.

He was arrested on the 13th on the basis of a complaint lodged against Kishore K. Sami that he had posted several defamatory posts on Facebook about former chief ministers Anna and Karunanidhi.

In this case, Judge Anupriya had remanded Kisho Sami in custody until June 28.

A case has been registered against Rohini on the orders of Chennai Municipal Commissioner Shankar Jiwal, who has been accused of spreading slander against her.
