The Tamil Nadu government has recently been accused of discriminating against the corona vaccine allocation. Coimbatore constituency legislator Vanathi Srinivasan accused Stalin of giving too little vaccine to Coimbatore in particular.
He thus made a direct request to Union Minister Harshavardhan to provide the required vaccine to the people of the block. He met Harshavardhan in person today and handed over a letter of thanks to him. In the letter, he said, "I thank you for allocating 42.58 lakh vaccines to Tamil Nadu this June. As Tamil Nadu is an industrial state, there is an increasing demand for corona patients here. Many in the industry are affected by corona. Liposomal Amphotericin B is required for Tamil Nadu.
Therefore, I request you to provide Tamil Nadu with corona vaccine for 18-45 year olds and Liposomal Amphotericin B for black fungus in large quantities, ”said Vanathi Srinivasan.
