Rahu Ketu is one of the new planets. Myths say that eclipses occur when these planets swallow the sun and moon. Legend has it that Rahu and Ketu took revenge on the sun and moon during the eclipse, limited to Brahma. There is also an interesting story about why the sun should take revenge on the moon Rahu Ketu.
A solar eclipse is an event that occasionally occurs when the moon intersects between the sun and the earth. Similarly, a lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth's shadow falls on the Moon as it comes between the Sun and the Moon. This event only happens three or four times a year. A lunar eclipse occurred 15 days ago. Today is the afternoon solar eclipse. The eclipse will last from 1.42 pm to 6.41 pm Indian time.
According to Hindu mythology, the Kasyapa sage-Aditi couple were born with deities like Indra, Vayu and Agni. Similarly the Kasyapa-Tithi couple were born with monsters including Iranyatsan and Iranyakasipu. This is why it is said that the seventh has always been suitable for gods and demons.
At the time of the Cretaceous, the gods of Indra, realizing that if they drank the elixir, they would live forever, much stronger, happier, without death, and knowing that the elixir was at the bottom of the ocean of milk, took refuge in Tirumala.
He helped to cross the Milky Way by giving the Mandara mountain as a mat and the Vasuki snake he was sleeping on as a rope. Since they could not cross such a large ocean of milk, he called his brothers, the Asuras, for help.

They, too, made it a condition that they be prepared to help cross the Milky Way and, in return, have a share in the elixir. The gods also accepted the condition and crossed the ocean with the help of the monsters.
From the Milky Way many emerged as Mahalakshmi, the Moon, and Dhanvantari Bhagavan. Shiva carried it around his neck to expose the venom of time. Finally the elixir expected by the gods emerged from the ocean of milk.
If the elixir of life is consumed by monsters, we will never be able to cope with it, and we are already experiencing the harassment inflicted by them. The gods told Tirumala that if there was elixir in it, the harassment of the gods themselves would increase.
Thirumalum also took the form of Mogin, thinking of preventing the monsters from getting elixir. The monsters, enchanted by Mogini's beauty, asked Mogini to serve the elixir to everyone, and the gods agreed.
It was decided that the gods should take the clear elixir at the top of the coffin and the asuras at the bottom so that there would be a dispute over who would serve the elixir first.
Mohini exchanged the elixir in the order in which the gods were first. But a monster named Suvarpanu, who suspected that something was amiss, sat in the line of gods in disguise.
Thirumal, who was in the form of Mohini, also knows this. Knowing this, Mahavishnu gave the elixir to Suvarpanu. Suvarpanu hurriedly swallowed the speed with which the elixir got.
The sun and the moon have seen this.
The sun and the moon immediately went to Mogini to tell him the truth, and as if they did not know anything, Mogini hit Swarpanu on the head with his fist. Thus Swarpanu's head and body fell apart. Suvarpanu's head and body fell apart and throbbed as he drank the elixir.
Mahavishnu claimed that the asuras had violated the agreement and had given the whole to the gods without giving them the elixir. Knowing that it was Suvarpanu who had lost their elixir, the Asuras set Suvarpanu aside from the Asura clan. Suvarpanu, whose body was different from his head, asked Lord Vishnu to show him the right way.
Thirumal also repented, fitted the head of the serpent with the body and the body of the serpent with the head and named both Rahu and Ketu. He favored both of them to travel in opposite directions unlike the other planets in the nebula. Since then, Raku and Ketu have been traveling in the Navagraha region.
However, realizing that the sun and the moon were the cause of his fate, they both sought revenge and were blessed with thousands of years of penance towards Brahman. Accordingly, four times a year, he gave the gift of preventing the shadow of the sun and moon from falling on the earth.
Following this, the shadow of the sun on the day of the new moon and the shadow of the moon on the day of the full moon are prevented from falling on the earth. This is what the myths call solar eclipses and lunar eclipses.
A monster called Suvarpanu hid the sun and spread darkness. The gods feared that the movement of the world and the work of living beings would be hampered by the absence of sunlight. To free the sun from the monster, they engaged in atonement. In this, the darkness was removed and the sun appeared pink. Finally, there is information in Scripture that his natural complexion was white,
During the eclipse, the sun will appear in a circle. When the eclipse begins, it glows reddish-white. When left full, it will look white. In scripture, there is the occurrence of that eclipse. Information about Ragu is mentioned in the Atharvana Veda.
It is a well-known fact that a solar eclipse is caused by the moon coming in a straight line between the sun and the earth on the day of the new moon and preventing sunlight from falling on the earth.
The first solar eclipse of the year occurs today. This is the Kangana solar eclipse. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. According to astrology, Rahu is a snake-swallowing phenomenon and is said to be a Rahu eclipse. Today we can watch the solar eclipse of the fire ring in the sky. The eclipse will last from 1.42 pm to 6.41 pm Indian time. Although this eclipse is not known in India, you can enjoy watching it live on websites.
