"As the Plus 2 general exam have been canceled, the results will be announced on the 31st of next month through the internal assessment process," the Andhra Pradesh High Court said yesterday.

Andhra Pradesh is ruled by the OSR Congress, led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Plus 2 general examinations, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), were recently canceled by the Central Government due to corona.

The CBSE said in a statement that the results would be announced by the 31st of next month based on the internal assessment procedure. Subsequently, most states canceled the Plus 2 general exam.

In this situation, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh government seeking permission to conduct the Plus 2 examination. The apex court, which heard the case, expressed dissatisfaction with the Andhra Pradesh government's decision and warned of the damage caused by the corona. Following this, the Andhra Pradesh government announced the cancellation of the Plus 2 general exam. The results will be announced on the 31st of next month following the internal assessment process, the court was told by the Andhra Pradesh government.
