Poocharu festival for mother at Srirangam Ranganathar temple...

Srirangam Ranganathar Temple, popularly known as Puloga Vaikundam, has started the Poocharu festival called Kodai Thirunal without the participation of devotees. The festival, which started yesterday, will continue till the 11th.

The outdoor festival will be held from yesterday till the 6th and the indoor festival will be held from the 7th to the 11th. Veena Ekanta service will be held on summer days. The Srirangachchiyar Spring Festival will be held from the 12th to the 18th of this month.

On the first day of the Velikodai festival yesterday, Ranganachchiar left the headquarters at 5.30 pm and reached the Velikodai hall at 5.45 pm. After seeing the flower there, he left the four-legged hall at 7 pm and reached the headquarters at 7.15 pm.

During the summer festivals, Ursavar Sriranganacharya leaves the headquarters at 6 pm daily and reaches the Outer Summer Hall at 6.30 pm. After seeing the flower there, he reaches the inner court hall at 7.45 pm. From there it departs at 8.45pm and arrives at the headquarters at 9.45pm with the lute.

The Ranganacharya Spring Festival is held from the 12th to the 18th. On spring festival days the mother leaves the headquarters at 6pm daily and wakes up at 6.30pm in the spring hall. After finding the decoration there, he leaves at 8.30 pm and reaches the headquarters at 9 pm.
