Pondicherry Deputy Governor's Office Renewal for Public Service ... 3 Officers Relocated ....

The office of the Deputy Governor of Pondicherry has been renovated for public service. 3 officers who have been working there for many years have been transferred.

The administration of the office of the Deputy Governor of Pondicherry has been restructured, simplified for public service and austerity measures have been taken.

Asha Gupta, who had been a supervisor in the Pondicherry Deputy Governor's Office for many years, Kumaran, a spokesperson, and Baskaran, a police officer who had been a grievance officer, have been transferred.

Chandrabose has been appointed as the Governor's House Supervisor and Gunasekara as the Liaison Officer.

As well as austerity measures have been taken and the administration has been restructured. Costs are monitored and highly controlled. The spending system has also been tweaked.

Whatever the supervisors plan to spend more than Rs. 3,000, it must be approved by the Governor's Private Secretary. As well as renting items for events held at the Vice-Governor's House, or taking items on a contract basis,

Although it performs on a contract basis, its cost accounts must be submitted in advance and approved. The order also states that any new item must be purchased with prior approval on a comparative basis at a lower cost.

The Pondicherry Deputy Governor's Secretariat said in a statement today that a committee has been set up to look into the requests received and incoming from the people.
