188 crore vaccines are needed to vaccinate people over 18 years of age twice ... Central Government Information ...!

The Central government has told the Supreme Court that 186 to 188 crore vaccines are needed to vaccinate 93 to 94 crore people over the age of 18 twice.

In an affidavit filed in the Central Supreme Court in a case related to corona vaccines, he said, “The total population of people aged 18 and over is 93-94 crore and these beneficiaries will need 186 to 188 crore vaccine doses to administer the two doses.

51.6 crore dose will be available to the government by July 31. It has been reported that about 135 crore vaccine doses will be required to fully vaccinate people across the country.

The Central government says it plans to vaccinate most people by the end of 2021. As on the 26th, the government has procured a total of 35.6 crore vaccine doses.

"The vaccine movement will get a boost if the Indian government succeeds in its efforts to procure vaccines available outside India like Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna," the Central government said. The Central government, however, assured the Supreme Court that it would guarantee free vaccination to every eligible person over the age of 18, regardless of whether they are rich or poor.

The central government distributes 75% of the vaccine produced by manufacturers in the country to the states.
