In Ramanathapuram district, BJP executives have been protesting, demanding the closure of Tasmac stores.

The Tamil Nadu government has from time to time announced some relaxations in the implementation of the curfew order due to the spread of corona in Tamil Nadu.

In this context, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has given permission to open Tasmag stores from today.

The BJP is protesting against this.

 Following this, BJP executives in Ramanathapuram district have been carrying placards in front of their houses.

They said that opening Tasmac stores would not be the best option in the current era and that it would lead to social unrest.

Therefore, slogans have been raised that the government should not give permission to open Tasmac stores. This was followed by protests in 228 places across the Ramanathapuram district.
