The livelihood of industry and workers in Coimbatore has been severely affected as the incidence of corona disease continues to rise. Following this, Vanathi Srinivasan met the Union Finance Minister in person and made a request to him.
Coimbatore industry organizations have filed a petition with the Coimbatore legislature alleging the damage caused to them by the second wave of the corona. Vanathi Srinivasan, who met the Union Finance Minister today, presented the demands of the Coimbatore industry.

Receiving this, Nirmala Sitharaman assured that appropriate action would be taken immediately. Similarly, Vanathi Srinivasan met Union Transport and Small and Micro Industries Minister Nitin Gadkari and submitted the petition.
