Government to issue 5 Pound gold jewelery loan to co-operative banks soon

Tamil Nadu Cooperatives Minister I. Periyasamy said the government would soon release a scheme to waive jewelery loans of up to 5 pound gold from co-operative banks.

Madurai Theni Dindigul Ramanathapuram Sivagangai Virudhunagar 6 District Cooperative Officers' Meeting was held at the Madurai District Collectorate on Wednesday.

There have been numerous complaints across Tamil Nadu that the previous regime had given crop loan waivers to non-farmers. It will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken if it is confirmed that something went wrong.

He said the applications of those who were interviewed during the last regime to join the co-operative sector jobs will be reconsidered and the work order will be issued.
