BJP leader L Murugan has announced to hold protests against the opening of Tasmac stores in 27 districts in Tamil Nadu.

Curfew imposed in Tamil Nadu due to corona. Currently the curfew has been extended with some relaxation as the corona gradually decreases.

Relaxations have been announced here as the disease has reduced in 27 districts, including Chennai.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has also given permission to open Tasmac stores in these districts.

However, Tasmag stores are not open in Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai districts due to the high incidence of the disease.

Opposition parties have been protesting against the Tamil Nadu government's decision to allow Tasmac stores to open in 27 districts.

Meanwhile, BJP state president L Murugan has said that the party will stage a protest tomorrow against the opening of Tasmag.

L. Murugan also said that leaders would carry black flags in their homes to protest because of the coroner.

When the then Edappadi Palanichamy government decided to open Tasmac stores in May last year, then-opposition leader MK Stalin announced the protest.

Stalin had then announced that he would stand in front of the house and protest. Today, the BJP has announced a similar protest against the opening of the Tasmag store.
