Chance of rain in Tamil Nadu and Puthuvai for the four days from today ....

The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast showers in Tamil Nadu and Puthuvai for the first four days today.

According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain with thundershowers will occur in the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, adjoining districts along the Western Ghats and at one or two places in Kanyakumari, Puthuvai and Karaikal today and tomorrow.

Similarly, on June 11 and 12, light to moderate rain is likely in the coastal districts, districts along the Western Ghats and at one or two places in Kanyakumari, Puthuvai and Karaikal.

For Chennai, the sky will be partly cloudy for the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few parts of the city.

In Tamil Nadu, maximum rainfall of 11 cm was recorded at Chidambaram in the last 24 hours. Rainfall, 10 cm in Paramakudi. Rain has also been reported.

Fishermen are advised to proceed with caution to the Gulf of Mannar due to the formation of a low pressure area on the 11th in the Bay of Bengal.
