President Ramnath Govind will leave Kanpur tomorrow by special train from Delhi Safdarjung railway station. It is noteworthy that a person who is the President of the Republic will travel by train after 15 years.
Many presidents have traveled by train before. After a gap of 15 years, the President is currently traveling by train.
The last time the then President, Dr. ABJ Abdul Kalam, traveled by special train from Delhi to Dehradun was in 2006, when he attended the graduation ceremony of the Indian Army Academy.
Following this, President Ramnath Govind will leave Delhi Safdarjung railway station for Kanpur tomorrow by a special train.
The President will travel by special train from Kanpur Central Railway Station on June 28 to Lucknow for a two-day visit. On June 29, he returns to New Delhi by a special flight.
The train will also stop at Jinjak and Rura in the Kanpur Reservoir. There the President meets and talks with his school and early community service friends.
