18 Taliban militants killed in Afghanistan military operation

Eighteen members of the Taliban have been killed in a military operation in Afghanistan's Helmand district on Tuesday.

There have been frequent clashes between the Taliban and the military in Afghanistan. In the meantime, the Afghan military launched a search operation based on intelligence information that the Taliban were hiding in Nahr-e-Saraj and Nat Ali districts.

At least 18 Taliban militants have been killed in an attack by Afghan forces on an ambushing Taliban stronghold. Another 9 people were seriously injured.

Heavy fighting has been going on between security forces and the Taliban in Aqsa district for the past one week.
