UP, police have arrested two terrorists linked to the Al Qaeda organization that planned to carry out suicide attacks in crowded places.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad has received information that suspected terrorists are hiding in the Kagori area of Lucknow in UP. Following this, they went there and conducted a test. At that time, the suspects Minaj Ahmed and Masrudin were arrested and interrogated. In it, they planned to attack public places in Lucknow.
Police arrested the two and confiscated weapons and ammunition from them. The investigation has revealed that they have links with Al Qaeda's Ansar Ghazwad-ul-Hind organization, said Prashant Kumar, a senior police official in the state.
