Twitter appoints grievance redressal officer to follow new rules of the federal government ...!

Twitter today appointed Vinay Prakash as a domestic grievance officer to follow the new rules of the federal government.

On February 25, the federal government issued a number of new rules, including requiring companies such as Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram to appoint a chief operating officer, a special task force, and a domestic grievance officer to take action on their users' complaints.

Social media was given 3 months to comply. It also said action would be taken against companies that did not comply with the rules, including a ban.

Subsequently, that opportunity ended on May 25th.

However, the trend of conflict between the federal government and the Twitter company persisted as Twitter did not appoint a domestic grievance officer.

In this case, Twitter has appointed Vinay Prakash as the domestic grievance officer.
