Sudden turn in Kerala woman rape case in Palani ..!

According to Dindigul Commodity DIG Vijayakumari, the investigation has revealed that the Kerala woman, who had allegedly been gang-raped at a private hotel in Palani, had said this to extort money from the hotel owner.

In Palani on Tuesday, Ava told reporters: A 40-year-old woman who was admitted for treatment at the Kerala State Medical College a few days ago has said that she was gang-raped by 3 gangs in Palani. Following this, the Palani police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation based on the information provided by the Kerala State Police.

Tamaraj, originally from Kerala on June 19, was staying with a 40-year-old woman at a private hotel in Palani. The two had an argument over alcohol that night. After the hotel owner evicted them, video evidence was found that the two had been roaming around Palani and Dindigul until the 25th. Also, no untoward incidents took place at the particular hostel. Preliminary investigation has revealed that Tamaraj used the name of the Kerala Police to extort money from the hotel owner with the intention of extorting money. Further investigation into Tamaraj's sister revealed that the woman who was staying with Tamaraj was not his wife. The medical report stated that there were no bodily injuries as a result of the gang rape on the woman who claimed to be the victim.

Two special teams led by Dindigul ADSP and Chandran have rushed to Kerala on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Police to investigate the case. He said that he had handed over to the Tamil Nadu police the documents including the medical report and the secret investigation conducted by the Kerala Police under Section 164 on the alleged woman. Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Ravalipriya and Palani Deputy Superintendent of Police Siva were also present.
