In Ladakh, China is building structures, including permanent housing, to house security forces.

The country is building permanent structures in areas where Chinese troops are concentrated in eastern Ladakh on the Indo-Chinese border.

China is said to be carrying out the operation for security reasons and to resettle military personnel. Therefore, it has been reported that India is also building similar settlements.

In the first week of July, Indian Air Force Commander-in-Chief RKS Pathauria expressed concern that China was improving its defense aircraft equipment.

Since May last year, China has been deploying security forces along the border. In retaliation, India is also amassing troops.

Although the two armies have withdrawn their forces along the northern and southern Pangong Cho lakes, clashes between India and China continue in areas including Hot Spring, Kokra Post and Thepsang.

Clashes between Indian and Chinese forces have been raging in various parts of eastern Ladakh since May last year. The two countries withdrew their forces last February after a series of talks.
