In India, 45,982 new cases of corona have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 44,291 people have recovered from the infection and returned home. A total of 2,98,43,825 people have recovered so far.

The number of people receiving treatment for the infection has risen to 4,60,704 as the number of confirmed cases is higher than the number of cured ones. This is 1.50 per cent of the total impact.

The recovery rate from the disease is 97.18 percent.

The weekly rate of confirmation of infection is consistently below 5 percent. It is currently at 2.37 percent. The daily vulnerability confirmation rate has been reported below 3 percent for 17 consecutive days.
