Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday announced that the general strike in Tamil Nadu would be extended till July 12 with further relaxations.

A general ban has been imposed in Tamil Nadu since May 9 due to the spread of the second wave of Corona. The current general embargo ends on July 5.

In this context, the Chief Minister, in consultation with the Medical Committee today, has extended the general ban till July 5 with further relaxations.

In a statement issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu,

Corona has been under curfew in Tamil Nadu since 25-3-2020 under the National Disaster Management Act, following the declaration of Corona as a disaster by the Union Government. Controls needed to control corona infection 31-7-

The following activities are banned in all districts from 5-7-2021 to 12-7-2021 from 6.00 am.

* Private and government between states
Bus transport

* International routes other than routes permitted by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs
Transportation

* Theaters

* All pubs

* Swimming pools

* Community and political meetings attended by the general public

* Entertainment, sports, cultural events

* Schools and Colleges

* Zoos

* Only 50 people will be allowed at weddings to control infection.

* At funerals, only 20 people will be allowed.

* From 5-7-2021, the same relief will be provided in all districts, following the reduction in the spread of the disease in Tamil Nadu, taking into account the livelihood, essential needs of the people and the economy of the state.

In all areas except the disease control areas, the activities that are already allowed will continue to be allowed. Also, shops and activities that are already allowed to operate until 7.00pm will be allowed to operate until 8.00pm.

All activities except the prohibited activities mentioned above will be allowed.

Additionally, the following functions may be allowed with a few restrictions.

* Government and private business to business exhibitions will be allowed. Only those with the appropriate invitation will be allowed. Owners and staff of exhibition halls and stalls in these halls must have been vaccinated in a mandatory RTPCR test or in two installments.

* Restaurants in restaurants, hostels, lodges, hostels and lodges will be allowed to sit and dine only from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm, with proper ventilation and following standard guidelines.

* 50% of customers will be allowed to drink tea at a time following the standard guidelines in tea shops.

* Only gymnasiums, sports and restaurants in clubs will be allowed to operate following corona prevention measures.

* IT / IT service companies will be allowed to operate with 50% employees.

* All places of worship will be allowed to operate following standard guidelines. Festivals and cruises are not allowed.

* Shopping Complex / Malls will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm. In shopping malls

The following important standard guidelines should be followed in all permitted shops and public places.

Mechanisms for controlling infection
