Speaking at the Rustamji Memorial Lecture organized by the Indian Border Security Force yesterday (Saturday), Rakesh Asthana said, "61 drones and 4 mines have been found on the India-Pakistan border. Twenty-two people have been killed in cross-border crossings in India in the past one year. 165 people have been arrested.
633 kg of drugs, 55 weapons and 4,233 ammunitions worth Rs. 2,786 were seized. A total of 12,821 kg of drugs, 61 weapons and 7,976 rounds of ammunition were seized along the India-Bangladesh border. So far 12 people have been killed by infiltrators and kidnappers in India. 3,984 people have been detained. ”
Attending the event as a special guest, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Terrorist infiltration, smuggling, narcotics, cattle smuggling, mining and drones are the biggest challenges for India. But there is full confidence in the Border Security Force.
The National Guard conducts forensic research not only on the tunnels, but also on its creation and those who came through. Ensure that no mines are set up across the Indian border. We are going to build new fences, ”said Amit Shah.
