Delta-type infection in 80 percent of vaccinated people in India.... ICMR

A study by the Medical Research Council of India has revealed that most of the people who are vaccinated during the second wave of corona in India and are infected with the corona infection are suffering from different delta type corona.

Performance and genetic analysis were performed on 677 corona-affected individuals who participated in the study from 17 states and Union Territories. Of these, 71 were vaccinated against covaxin, 604 were vaccinated against covshield, and two were vaccinated against Chinese synoform.

In this case, three deaths have been reported among vaccinated persons. Of the corona lesions in the study, 9.8 percent were hospitalized. At the same time only 0.4 percent of the victims died. However, the study found that those who were vaccinated were less likely to be hospitalized and had a lower mortality rate, even those who had been vaccinated at least once.

The vast majority of people infected with the corona vaccine in India were infected with the different delta type corona during the second wave of disaster. At the same time, 482 people (71 percent) were found to have one or more symptoms. 29% were found to be asymptomatic.

Of these, fever (69 percent) was characterized by persistent symptoms such as body aches, headache and nausea (56 percent), cough (45 percent), sore throat (37 percent), and loss of smell. And ICMR reported loss of taste (22 percent), diarrhea (6 percent), shortness of breath (6 percent) and 1 percent eye irritation and redness.

The different delta type corona is spread over more than 111 countries. The World Health Organization says it could be a worldwide outbreak, leading to a third wave of corona infections.

According to the Ministry of Health, both the Kovacsin and Covshield vaccines have been shown to be highly effective against Delta Govt variant delta type corona infections.
