Super Numerous Chief Ministers in Maharashtra ..... BJP Devendra Fatnavis

BJP leader and former chief minister Devendra Fatnavis has said that there are many super chief ministers in the state of Maharashtra.

There is only one Chief Minister in the state government of Maharashtra. But there are plenty of super chiefs. He said they would spontaneously issue even the most important announcements of the state government.

Many ministers in the Maharashtra government think of themselves as chief ministers. Fatnawis said that with that in mind, they have made a number of important announcements and tend to pose as chiefs.

Fatnavis' remarks came amid controversy over a statement issued by Minister Vijay Vadettiwar seeking the lifting of a public ban imposed to curb the spread of corona infection in Maharashtra.
