In a nationwide survey, 59 per cent of people in Tamil Nadu said the state government had handled the second wave of corona better.

The reasons for the better handling were that Corona delayed the second wave attack, including better medical infrastructure compared to other states, most people said.

Next to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh 54 per cent, Uttar Pradesh 51 per cent and Maharashtra 47 per cent said their state governments had done well.

At least 17 per cent in West Bengal said the state government had handled it well.
