AIADMK co-ordinator OPS  has urged the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, who is going to Delhi, to personally urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give additional vaccinations to Tamil Nadu based on the 2011 population .

His statement said:

The federal government's move to procure and distribute 96 million doses of the vaccine to all states by the end of this year, based on the fact that the corona vaccine is the only way to protect people from the epidemic, is a wise decision to cultivate in season. This decision of the Central Government is commendable.

The Central Government has agreed to purchase a total of Rs. Has caused.

Apart from this, the Hyderabad-based Biological E has developed a new vaccine called Gorbevax. It has been reported that the vaccine will play a key role in the fight against corona, has a 90 percent efficacy and will be available in use from October.

In all, 96 crore vaccines will be procured and distributed by the end of this year.

Federal government corona vaccination measures will definitely stop the third wave of corona infection.

As of 7 am on the 18th, 40,49,31,715 vaccines have been administered in India, including 1,93,84,576 in Tamil Nadu, according to the Federal Ministry of Public Welfare and Family Welfare.

According to the 2011 census, the population of Tamil Nadu is 7.21 crore. This is 6.061 per cent of the Indian population.

Of the 40,49,3,715 vaccines administered so far, 2,45,41,911 vaccines, or 6.061 per cent, should have been given to the people of Tamil Nadu, based on the 2011 population. However, only 1,93,84,576 vaccines have been given to the people of Tamil Nadu. That means only 4.787 percent have been vaccinated.

In terms of population, 51,58,335 vaccines have been under-vaccinated.

Of the 96 crore vaccines to be procured by the Central Government by the end of this year, 6.061 per cent of the population of Tamil Nadu, i.e. 5,81,85,000 vaccines and a total of 6,33,43,935 vaccines have already been received from the Central Government, including 5,58,335 vaccines which have already been reduced, for all persons above 18 years of age. It is the duty of the Government of Tamil Nadu to achieve the target of vaccination.

A. Panneerselvam therefore urged Chief Minister Stalin to pay immediate attention to this and go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in person with the figures and take steps to get vaccinated at least in 2011 on the basis of population.
