The central government allocates the corona vaccine to the states according to the population .... Finance Minister

Federal Finance Minister Nimala Sitharaman said that the central government allocates corona vaccine to the states according to the population.

Awa told reporters after visiting the 100-bed Corona Hospital with oxygen facilities set up at the Kannada Power Complex in Elahanga, Bangalore on Thursday:

The federal government allocates the corona vaccine to the states according to the population and the number of people at risk. The vaccine is provided by the federal government to states in advance. All states will be vaccinated as needed. I am confident that everyone will get the vaccine. So it is not correct for some political leaders to claim that there is a shortage of corona vaccine in the state.

This is the first time Corona has come to Bangalore after the second wave. Boeing India has approached the federal government to develop infrastructure for emergency medical needs. The company has also donated to BMK. When the representatives of the company met me, I asked them to set up emergency treatment facilities in the rural areas of Bangalore, Karnataka and Kalabuki in the North. Some other companies have also approached the federal government to provide medical facilities.

The newly established Corona Hospital in Elahanga has a pediatric ward, emergency department and oxygen facilities. The company is ready to make such facilities. States like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan are claiming that there is a shortage of corona vaccine. Of the corona vaccination camps conducted across the country, 33.57 crore have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far.

We are planning on the amount of GST compensation to be paid to the states. The amount of GST compensation to be paid to the states will be decided according to the calculation method carried out during the last year. It is on this basis that the work of distributing the compensation will begin. I have already promised to hold a special parliamentary session to discuss GST. He said the issue of GST compensation would also be discussed at the meeting.
