Due to heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, the Vaniyambadi lake has flooded. The ground bridge was flooded.
Andhra Pradesh Kuppam area has received heavy rains for the last few days. Thus, the Andhra-built Pullur dam across the lake is overflowing. Also, Tirupati and surrounding areas have been getting good rains for the last few days. As a result, these two waters together have caused flooding in the Ambalur lake near Vaniyambadi.
The causeway built across the Ambalur Lake was submerged in water. District Collector Amar Kushwaha personally visited it. He advised the public living on both shores to be safe.
Due to the heavy rains, water is also pouring into the waterfall.
