18 killed in Taliban attack...!

 

 

At least 18 people, including a Taliban commander, have been killed in a military operation in Afghanistan's Aqsa district on Thursday.

There have been frequent clashes between the Taliban and the military in Afghanistan. A search was launched by Afghan forces on a tip-off that the Taliban were hiding in the Aqsa district of northern Jawzjan province.

The Afghan army carried out airstrikes on the Taliban hideout. The attack killed 18 Taliban, including Taliban commander Qari Mubin.

Heavy fighting has been going on between security forces and the Taliban in Aqsa district for the past one week.
