The new relaxations in Tamil Nadu came into effect today. The corona-affected districts were divided into 3 categories and additional relaxations in curfew were announced accordingly.
Category 1 - (11 Districts) Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai Districts
• Considering the declining incidence of infection in Type 1 districts
• Only parcel service will be allowed in tea shops from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Shops selling electrical goods, bulbs, cables, switches and wires will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Hardware stores will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Shops selling textbooks and stationery will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Shoe shops will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Sales and repair shops for household appliances such as mixers, grinders, televisions will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
. • Vehicle dealers' sales and vehicle repair centers will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. Convenience stores Vehicle parts selling shops will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Shops selling mobile phones and related items will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Shops selling computer hardware, software and electronic components components (Computer Hardware, Software, Electronic Appliances Spare Parts) will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Parcel service only in roadside food stalls will be allowed from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm. கடைகள் Shops selling construction materials will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm
• All essential departments of the government will be allowed to operate with 100% staff. Other government offices will be allowed to operate with 50% staff.

• Banks and insurance companies will be allowed to operate ATMs with 50% of employees.
• The Stock Exchange of India (SEBI) and its operations will be allowed to operate with 50% staff.
• Export companies and input manufacturing companies for export companies will be allowed to continue to operate with 100% staff following standard guidelines.
• Other industries will be allowed to operate with 33% of employees.
• IT / IT service companies will be allowed to operate with 20% of employees.
• Housing Facility (HFCs) Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFCs), Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) will be allowed to operate with 33% staff
• Offices of construction companies will be allowed to operate with 33% employees
• All types of construction work will be permitted.
• Sports training groups will be allowed to operate from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm and will be open to the public without spectators.
• Admissions related work will be allowed in schools, colleges and universities and training centers.
• Parks and playgrounds under the control of Government Parks and Local Bodies will be allowed to operate only from 6.00 am to 9.00 am for walking only.
• Parcel services only will be allowed from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm at shops selling sweets and caraway.
• E-Service Centers will operate as usual. உணவு Food delivery companies through e-commerce and only parcel service in restaurants, restaurants and bakeries will be allowed from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm
• All other e-commerce service companies (E-commerce) can operate from 06.00 am to 09.00 pm. பணிகள் Post-film production will be allowed.

• In theaters, maintenance work will be allowed only one day a week with the permission of the concerned Governor.
• Category 2 - (23 Districts) Ariyalur, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Dindigul, Kallakurichi, Kanyakumari, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Perambalur, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Ranipettai, Sivagangai, Theni, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Tirupattur, Thiruvannamalai, Thoothukudi, Tiruchirappalli, Villupuram, And Virudhunagar districts.
• Shops / activities already allowed in Type 2 districts will be given time relaxation till 7.00 pm and in addition the following activities will be allowed.
• Pottery shops, pansies, cosmetics, photo / video, laundry, sewing presses, Xerox shops will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm
• Stores selling mobile phones and related products will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
• Shops selling computer hardware, software and parts for electronic hardware (Computer Hardware, Software, Electronic Appliances Spare Parts) will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.

Type 3 - (4 districts) Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu districts

• All clothing stores will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm with 50% customers at a time, without refrigeration facilities.
• All jewelers will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm with 50% customers at a time, without refrigeration facilities.
• Comple Shopping Complex / Malls will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. However, only parcel food will be allowed in restaurants on shopping malls. Theaters and sports halls are not allowed
• All places of worship including temples, mosques, churches and dargahs will be allowed to operate following standard guidelines. Archana, festivals and crucifixion are not allowed.
• Sports training groups will be allowed to operate from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm and will be open to the public without spectators.
• In addition to the time off for activities that are already permitted in Districts Type 2 and 3, the following activities are also permitted.
• Private security service companies and services including housekeeping in office, houses and flats will be allowed to operate without e-registration.
• Self-employed persons such as electricians, plumbers, computer and machinery repair technicians (motor technicians) and carpenters will be allowed to go to the homes of service seekers for repairs from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm without e-registration.
• All government offices will be allowed to operate with 100% staff.
• Banks and insurance companies will be allowed to operate ATM services 100% with employees.
• The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and its operations will be allowed to operate with 100% staff.
• Other industries will be allowed to operate with 100% employees. • IT / IT service companies will be allowed to operate with 50% employees.
• Housing Facility (HFCs) Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFCs), Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) will be allowed to operate with 50 per cent staff.
• Gymnasiums, yoga training centers, without cooling facilities, up to 50% of people at a time are allowed to operate normally under proper guidelines
• Museums, protected monuments of the Department of Archeology, excavations will be allowed to operate from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
• On all beaches, hiking will be allowed from 5 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
• Match factories will be allowed to operate with 100% employees. Travel permit for weddings
E-Pass and e-Registration
• Marriage-related transport between Districts 2 and 3 can be traveled without e-pass / e-registration. •
• An e-pass will be issued for marriage-related transport between Type 1 districts and Districts 2 and 3 to Type 1 districts. The e-pass can be obtained online from the District Collector of the district where the marriage is to take place (https://eregister.tnega.org) by the bride / groom or their parents.
• You will also need to get an e-pass to travel from Type-1 districts to Type-2 and 3 districts for weddings.
• Only 50 people will be allowed to attend the wedding.
• Travel to Nilgiris, Kodaikanal, Yercaud, Yelagiri and Courtallam for urgent reasons will be allowed by obtaining an e-pass from the relevant District Collectors.
