Chief Minister is involved in Stalin's magic ... Will set up a NEET selection commission for discovery ....? In a rage L.Murugan .....!

Realizing that NEET exam cannot be canceled, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin is using magic to deceive the people ... BJP leader L Murugan has harshly criticized.

In this connection, L. Murugan issued a statement saying, “All India level NEET examination is being conducted for admission of students in medical courses. The announcement of NEET was first published in the Union Gazette in 2010 when the Congress-DMK alliance was in power and Gandhi Selvan was the Union Minister of Health for the DMK. The Congress-DMK government has filed a case in the Supreme Court on behalf of private hospitals against the announcement.

The Supreme Court, which heard the case, ruled against NEET on July 18, 2013. The verdict was appealed on July 18, 2013 by the same DMK-Congress alliance. The apex court, which heard the DMK-Congress alliance's appeal, ruled that NEET should be selected. The NEET exam has been held in all states since 2017. It was in this context that the DMK and the Congress, which brought in the NEET exam when it was the ruling party, vehemently opposed it.

DMK leader MK Stalin promised to cancel the NEET examn if they came to power. The DMK had also announced in its exam manifesto that it would cancel the NEET exam in eight months if they came to power. In this situation, only a month after coming to power, the DMK has realized that the NEET exam cannot be canceled and has started engaging in magic to deceive the people. MK Stalin has recently set up a high-level panel headed by retired Judge AK Rajan to look into the impact of NEET selection on medical student admissions.

The task of this commission is to submit a report to the DMK government on what kind of impact NEET has had on the society. Prior to the announcement of the NEET exam in 2010, various studies were conducted in this regard. After that, about 6 years later, the Supreme Court ruled that NEET was necessary only after conducting various studies. Subsequently, the previous AIADMK government set up a commission headed by retired Judge Kalaiyarasan to provide 7.5 per cent reservation in medical courses to government school students who passed the NEET examination.

Due to this 7.5 per cent reservation, the previous government had supported the rural poor, the common people and the students who had passed the NEET examination in government schools to join medical education. Rural students are benefiting from this. The DMK and its leader, MK Stalin, are trying to prevent this. Is this the pity on poor, simple rural students and public school students? In this case, the commission set up by MK Stalin could not say anything new about the NEET selection, except to investigate whether there was water on Mars.

The AK Rajan Commission is going to function as a commission set up only to pass the whole time and deceive the people. That is why MK Stalin did not refer to this commission as the Commission to Investigate the Cancellation of NEET, but to the Commission to Investigate the Impact of NEET. Such irresponsible action taken by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the sake of pride will surely cause confusion among the students who are preparing for the NEET examination. Therefore, on behalf of the Tamil Nadu BJP, we request the DMK government to act in the interest of the students and not to politicize the issue.

The BJP urges the DMK government to dissolve the existing commission unnecessarily and engage students in preparing for the NEET exam, ”L Murugan said in a statement.
